G’day Peter
Currently in Bowen and will be at Rollingstone from 12 July for two days.
Cheers

Bushy Park at Rollingstone is very full at the moment, best to get in early in the day. More room at Bluewater if you want a quick stopover before getting to Bush Park.

We are booked into Rollingstone Beach Caravan Resort in Hencamp Creek Rd. Is that one of the ones you mention. Would like to catch up if you are not to busy.
Cheers

Hi Peter & Rachel
Really enjoyed our catch up at Rollingstone. Since then have spent time at Cardwell and Flying Fish Point, both are fantastic. Cannot speak highly enough of Andre and his team at the Flying Fish Point park.
A bit of feedback on Prestige. Ran them re: replacement barrell for door lock and they said they would try and find one that matched my existing keys. Two days later got a call back and they sent the last one matching my key in Australia via mail. Very happy with the service.
Cheers from Cairns

Just got back from Wangaratta after visiting a manufacturer We have took there brand on along side our present brands and with a view to possibly manufacturing a Quality German design and engineering caravan in Australia using the Ozzy know how and understanding of what works in this great country of ours.
Off to Melbourne Tuesday for Sues MS drug infusion and pick up another van. Had a lovely Geist owner Rev Roger Dyer and his wife June just bought an LV485 and wanted it customising with a bike rack TV and Bracket along with the service which brought up a leaking valve and tyre wear on the outer edge that are both caused by a badly balanced wheel we had the rest balanced as well it seams to be anything more than 20g out can cause tyre wear so check you don’t lose a wheel weight the suspension gets a fine vibration that causes the problem and with all caravans having a 1degree tow in and camber built in to the axle its always the outside of the tyres that get the brunt of the wear. His van had had the blue box removed and replaced with a J**o (can’t say that word bit like McDonalds well advertised but badly turned out) unit and three relays back to the control switches it worked well it was just under fused in a couple of cases. That’s all folks!!!!!!!

Tony and I in the North Of Victoria and heading into the Gippsland. Would love to come to the retreat but unfortunately do not know where it is. Can you please email me with details. Love to catch up with you soon. Still thoroughly enjoying our Oz trip in the Geist.

Sandy
Hi All
We are, once again at the Woodgate Beach Tourist Park for a fortnight. Our second stay within six weeks. Can’t get enough of this place! Planning to have Christmas at home then spend three weeks at the Hervey Bay Caravan Park as we did last January. The little AK450 is performing with it’s ears back. Cannot believe how comfortable this van is, whether touring or camped for weeks on end.
Travel safe everyone,
David & Vonnie
Tomorrow, Monday 24th May 2010, we head north from Melbourne to our little winter haven in Rockhampton. Normally we leave earlier in mid March, however, this year, starting time off the blocks is slow. We have an XK660 and enjoy our travelling. Unfortunately we will miss the do at Maleny however the next GG in 2011 sounds great. We are looking forward to meeting our fellow Geist Owners and enjoying some good company at that time.
Safe travelling!!

If any Geisters are up Bundaberg way, be sure to spend some time at Woodgate….. ‘relaxing’ would be the best description. We have spent 3 nights of our 2 week brief holiday @ the Woodgate beach park and the beach and cafe are just beaut. Alas all good things come to an end….have to head back to work!
Cheers, James
