The Australian Geist Owners are invited to join a Geist Lobby Fund to allow me and one other person to travel to the UK and Germany to sort out some pressing issues in regards to the process for parts to come into Austalia quickly and that are affordable, to lobby directly the need for Geist to continue bringing new product into Australia and setup a network with the UK for additional product as accessories to our vans. The lobby group contributors would also receive exclusive information about our outcomes including a full written report and audio transcripts of meetings, video of proposed imported product and a say in the direction the group may take to appoint a suitable business to manage this outcome.
Unfortunately the cost of doing this is outside what I am personally prepared to put forward on my own, so I am asking for donations to the lobby fund from interested owners who would like to:
1. See Geist continue bringing NEW product into Australia.
2. Not see their investment in their Geist go down the tube as the value of owning a Geist in Australia slips dramatically, if there is no backup service and information about them available.
There is an opportunity here for the Geist caravan brand to be better than it has ever been in Australia including the opportunity for more product, but until as a group we stand up and put our hand out we wont know if it will be slapped or grasped by the powers who manufactured our Geist.
In saying all this there is quite a bit of money to raise and I myself will put in AU$1,000 to push the fund off, the person who puts in the most to the fund will be coming with me to Germany and England for 1-2 weeks to sit down with LMC Germany, Geist UK and other accessory product brands to nut out some solutions of which all will be laid out in the detailed report for Lobby Fund contributors only!
